Escena Golf Club - Palm Springs

The price of $147 for the conditions we encountered today (November 17) was ridiculous. The greens were rolling at about a 6 and were quite bumpy. Given that the course is not fully recovered from overseeding, charging such high prices feels like nothing more than price gouging.

If you order a hot dog at the turn, be prepared to wait 10 minutes for it, only for the marshal to inform you that you're off pace. Don’t expect to be courteous and relaxed with your group on the greens here; they maintain a very strict pace of play.

Might be one of the best values in the whole desert. The course was well maintained and the holes were each unique. It just felt right for the price. There is no range but you can hit into nets before the round. The carts do not come GPS equipped but they have a free app you can use.Every time I find a value price for gold in the desert there is a reason. In this case it is just the amenities that are lacking but I understand that. The course was fantastic

Great golf course!However the pre pay booking is STUPID!Why should I have to charge a hundreds of extra dollars on my credit card to book a 4-some with my buddies??Most People no longer carry cash, and I do not accept credit cards, Zelle, or Venmo..This **** needs to change!
