Jamba - Palm Desert

I have visited this Jamba several times and it has been a pleasant experience in the past till today. I ordered a large smoothie and added 2 scoops of whey protein which makes the smoothie fuller. The guy who made my smoothie filled the large cup and Iasked him for the rest that was actually quite a bit left in the pitcher. He refused and said I only paid for a large not extraI told him I wasn't getting all the protein I needed and paid for. He said sorry and walked away. Which ended up bringing the KAREN out in me and I explained that I was going thru treatment for cancer (not that it was any of his business nor should aperson have to explain why they wanted or needed something) and he was still resistant. We went back and forth before he finallygrabbed another cup and filled that one with still another cup full still in the pitcher. I have never had an issue or even hadto ask for the extra at other locations, as if it was coming out of his pocket for the extra cup to fill the smoothie I paidfor. I was embarrassed and felt like it should not have even gotten to that point. Bottom line, you never know what someone isgoing through and to deny them of something that person knows is soo essential for their health is straight wrong.

I had a terrible experience today. A trainee was complaining that she didn't know how to make my juice and even told her colleague that she didn't want to make it and just wanted to go home. I had to step in and remind her that, as a customer, I would really appreciate it if she could make my juice. What a disappointment.

To make matters worse, my drink wasn’t even filled all the way; it looked super diluted and definitely did not taste good. It wasn’t even a smoothie! Overall, it was disappointing. At this Jamba Juice location, it's really a gamble: your drink might be watered down, or you might have to deal with a rude or sarcastic worker. This is unacceptable, especially when you're spending your hard-earned money.

This place is fantastic, especially if you try the Watermelon Madness! It's a healthy option that's definitely worth the money.
