California Pizza Kitchen At The Shops On El Paseo

I went to the original in Beverly Hills for years when it first opened. Interesting how it became a national chain like The Cheescake Factory, also Beverly Hills, but the food has remained consistently good and I'm always pleased with the food and drinks here. The service has been good too. I recommend if u haven't gone. Nice menu. U will like it.

You know the pizza is going to be good at CPK, so order the pizza. They were short staffed, so that is why the 3. Our server was Izzy and he was great, just he had too much to do so it did take some time for somethings.

Food was great, whenever I’m in town i come and eat here, Great pizza and bread.

Bartender has no personality. Ordered a take our pizza and ordered watermelon cooler while I waited. Made other than mine and you can see the watermelon slices were different size. Meant to give a tip but told him to keep the change which was very little. If he would have even smiled. He was more interested in table service in the bar. Definitely would not return. Plenty of nice restaurants with pleasant employees.

They took forever to help us on our table, even though they were not full. The bread was old and very hard. They said the new bread is coming out but never did. The chicken in the pasta seemed reheated and not fresh. They were out of all appetizers and our alcoholic drinks got there when we were almost done eating. Just a horrible experience.
