Almond Palm Beach

There are other options in Palm Beach that are better food and value.

Casual, laid back, really nice covered outdoor patio. And the food and the service really shines! Probably overlooked amongst higher profile Palm Beach offerings but you should try it excellent quality, not stuffy or pretentious.

My husband and I went out for dinner as a respite after a long week. We picked Almond because it was highly rated and we had never been there. The only positive was the staff they were very pleasant and attentive. But we were there to enjoy some tasty dishes and it was extremely disappointing. First we had duck empanadas for appetizer. It was so dry and awful that I couldn't eat it. It tasted like reheated food that had been kept for too long. My husband poured the sauce on liberally and ate it. He's not one for wasting money. Then I had the lobster spaghetti. The lobster was over cooked, rubbery and tasteless. My husband had a sausage and veal pasta dish and his was better than mine but mediocre at best. The waiter recommended a date cake with crème fraiche icecream and that was the best part of the meal. The entire meal cost was $150. We don't mind spending a lot on a enjoyable dining experience but this was a complete waste of money.

Excellent newer venue on on The Way. Very pleasant staff, delicious options, bright fun atmosphere.

It was ok. It took about 20 minutes before we even had someone ask if we wanted water. I know a lot of places are short staffed. The appetizers were excellent and came out quickly. The spaghetti with lobster has little flavor and overcooked lobster. I would go back and maybe just do appetizers but not entrees. Cool place otherwise.
