Dao Japanese Buffet - Palm Bay

Yuck. I can't believe this place isn't closed down yet. Visited on 10-8-20 at 4PM. $36.79 got us two adult buffets and one child buffet. Service was bare minimum. The place is absolutely filthy and cluttered inside. I was ready to leave but my husband wanted to stay. There was barely any food on the buffet and the food that was there was dried up and cold. I'm just sitting here praying I don't get food poisoning. Their fried rice is brown mush. Their lo mein is brown mushy linguine. Their wonton soup is in an actual cockpot sitting on the counter. Room temperature dried up slop. Don't waste your time or money. This place will close soon.

My recent trip to Florida to visit my parents I went to dinner with them and my brother to this buffet. I have to say I did not know what I was in for going to a buffet with sushi I am not usually a fan of it sitting out. I love sushi and I could not wait to try it here, The price was not too bad... So I have to say I was impressed with the size of the buffet and they have a pretty large Sushi area. I leaned toward eat nothing but the sushi. I tried some things I have never seen before and everything was pretty good. The Chefs were behind the counter making more rolls and items as they disappeared. When we first went in I think there was some left over from the lunch buffet but after they were gone they did put out some new items. My Parents leaned toward the buffet foods and my brother had both. It was not bad, Service was very good they cleaned away plates right away and kept the drinks filled, The quality was not bad. Better than some other buffets I have had sushi at but Japanese restaurants that serve nothing but fresh Sushi you can not beat, Would I go back here? There are so many new places I would have to say this would be not be my first choice but I would go back sometime, The restaurant was clean and that is very important!

I gave 3 stars because it didn't stand out from other Asian buffets. Food is what you'd typically expect. I like how this one has sushi because not all buffets offer that. Cost is $12.99 all day on Sundays. I think if you're looking for a typical buffet experience, this is a good place to visit. Good for large parties and families.

While on the Space Coast visiting the family, I turned to Yelp for good restaurants in the area. I will admit, I was definitely skeptical having seen the location. I trust my Yelpers though and my sister and I decided to give it a try, A solid 4 stars in my book! The sushi was varied and fresh. Like really fresh for what I was expecting in traditional sushi buffets! Some of the choices for the American Chinese selections were not as good. The fried rice was really dry and clumpy. I love the spare ribs, those were pretty good. Overall, I'd definitely and absolutely will be back. Don't be put off by the location and try it out.

Horrible. We got food poisoning, from the horrible seafood. I mentioned it to the waitress, and her exact words were Some people like, some people don 't . please stay away from here. I have called to ask for a refund but, I am still unable to get through on the phone. I would just say if your seafood is bad, do not advertise as a fresh seafood buffet. Because my family is now sick and you do not answer the phone.
