Palisade Café And Wine

What a good way to end a day of wine tasting. We have many nutritional restrictions, allergies and diets in our group and could absorb all. And the drinks were delicious!

Had a disappointing culinary experience, both food and service were among our hopes. The $16 burger was common. The $29 steamed seafood dish was 50% filled with artichokes. The special cocktails were badly prepared and presented. The service was not very competent; for example, a salad was brought instead of the main dishes.

Food was great, the service was not there. We ordered apps and a soup that came out at the same time as our entree. The soup was cold and then trying to eat our soup as the same time made our dinner food cold. The waitress did not ask us for drink refills like wine or drink and brought us the bill before asking for dessert. We over heard the bartender talk about a peach dessert which sounded good but we did not get that option. Everything on the menu looks amazing! But what you get is not what you read. Idk if I’ll be back we love palisade and have been here so many times but peche is worth the money and service. I’ll be keeping my business there.

I had the ribeye steak ordered med. rare, came medium. Steak was thin, so understandable. Seasoning was very flavorful as were the fingerling potatoes. My wife had the Farm green salad with grilled chicken. She said it was excellent. Her dessert was Palisade peach pie al a more which was very good. I had the Gelato….. problem was it had lavender in it and that was too overpowering. Neither of us could eat it! Service was very good, and prices were excellent.

This is the best place to eat in the valley. Farm to table, everything on the menu is good. I always bring all my guests to the Palisade Café.
