El Toro - Palestine

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I don't live up there anymore but my son does and we go every time I'm in Palestine. They make a great Bahama Mama!!! And the food is delicious too. Highly recommended

Tex-Mex Restaurant with a variety of offerings. Their green sauce is awesome. Be sure to get multiple bowls as you will not want to share. The enchiladas are good. Last time there I had the Southwest Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. It was a huge salad.Grab a vanilla ice cream on the way out or...while you wait for your table. The noise level is very loud. It could be too muchfor someone sensitive to noisy places.

The restaurant is clean and efficient, offering a diverse selection of delicious dishes, especially seafood. Our meal was fresh and expertly prepared. It's easy to overcook shrimp, but our brochettes were cooked to perfection. If you're a fan of green sauces with your chips, their recipe is light and flavorful.

The bathrooms were not cleaned before my arrival, the trash was never taken out, and the toilet seats were loose and wobbly. I stayed for 45-60 minutes and checked back before leaving, but nothing had changed except that the trash was now on the floor. On a positive note, the servers were very helpful and the food was enjoyable. The chips were brought out promptly as soon as we finished a bowl, and the drink refills were excellent. I wish I had taken some photos.

This is not your average Tex-Mex restaurant! I could easily have enjoyed a meal just with their green sauce, and their chips were perfectly thin, just the way I like them! I really wish we had a place like this in Tyler!
