Great food, cooked with care, quiet atmosphere and home-style.
There are some nice cycling shops in the same neighbourhood as enoteca pinturicchio. we noticed this nice looking restaurant from the next door. what a shame. first the service was excellent, friendly and attentive. our lunch exceeded expectations and would be great. to know how delicious the dinner could be. they have excellent choice of wein and also great handmade palermitani biers. complimenti!
After we spent 5 days in palermo, we returned from a day trip from monreal heavy lunchtime) we were looking for a light dinner and a good red wine in a local, low wrench place. After researching enoteca's travel advisor, we chose it for a local atmosphere and location near via liberta. It was clear from the beginning that this was more than an average enoteca. with a lot of freshly cooked local dishes. I think we started the host a little bit, whose ordinary client is native. they couldn't have done to take care of us anymore. While we usually worked out the menu with our Italian base menu, a friend of the owner sylvie (with good English) was called to make sure that we understood the menu to recommend very good and reasonable wein. 4 friends we chose all different dishes (a pasta, risotto, huh (with tasty kartoffels) and even a curry) but everything was true that this was the best food we had experienced in palermo. local, fresh, simple, very well cooked presented food. the next day, when we asked for ostars, they were inconspicuously full. they responded to the challenge of another local recommendation. we look forward to this recommendation. a huge thanks for the great food and service tonight all reasonable prices) an unforgettable last evening in palermo that I do not recommend a reservation in.
So I enjoyed the sunshine in the beautiful giardino inglese park in the center of palermo. I thought at the moment, it would not be great to find a local restaurant, full of local, eating wonderful local cuisine. At any rate, within 5 minutes to walk I... decided to try this place. I'm so glad I did. I had the best lunch I ever had, eating was as good as it gets. the first thing that came out was a little brot with olive oil, nothing to be excited. once I ate that I knew that I was for a contract, as it saw standard Italian farewell, but the taste of every mouthful soon made me realize that something special was going on. from this point it was just better and better, it was fantastic simple and easy. No one spoke English what was a good sign. it is a lunch I will never forget, also made photos. if they are close somewhere, they do not miss this place!. (the wee was also great)
