Cobadonga Inn - Palapag

Several days ago, I posted a review about how ill mannered is the management of this establishment. To my suprise, my review was shared by some people who from what I heard have experienced the same thing or even worse. A family of mine, who dined there with my nephew was scolded by one of the siblings of the owner, Mr, Adrian Perry(incident happened about 1 year ago).That time it was Olivia, the daughter. She told me that while she was paying the bill her son accidently hit the board where the menu was written and somehow left a mark of my nephew's hand. Immmediately, Olivia scolded the kid and called him stupid f...king little child, kicked the door and left after receiving the payment. The poor child, a toddler (almost 4 years old)though had no wisdom yet, was humiliated infront of his mom. This is very unacceptable. We palapagnon and any customer in general should not be treated like this. Let us boycott this place. I encourage everyone who had a negative experience to post a review so people will know what kind of customer service the management has. Let your voice be heard. Gregg Quibal

Hi .had Farewell dinner. at the Cobadonga 18/08/2018.. the Host Jim was very polite and courteous, he runs the Inn very professionally ,the food and atmosphere in the Cobadonga is Fantastic. lots of good music too and the Beer is cold !! I would thoroughly recommend the COBADONGA when visiting Palapag !!

Would definitely choose for the next visit in Samar. A very good recommendation if you want to escape from the crowded Manila… We stayed for few nights with my friends and all respect for the son of the owner (forgot his name) who did a great job though I think he is half British he showed a true sample of excellent hospitality! Staff are very nice and professional. Overall good hotel and very good staff!

Avoid this Inn as much as possible. When we checked in, we exchanged pleasantriess with the son of the Inn keeper but the daughter, who serves a a bookkeeper, maliciously smirked at us, on you face style, for no apparent reason. A spoiled bitch I guess
