This is THE restaurant in Bagan! If you’re not here by 6, prepare to wait for a table or share like I did. It’s primarily foreigners so it was nice to share with some folks from the US. The beer is ice cold, the food is delicious and it’s nice to sit by the road and watch the locals go about their day to day

Great spot in old Bagan for traditional Burmese food. My wife and I visited in January 2020. We had a tea leaf and tomato salad which were both above average. We also had the chicken and beef curry which were also good. Pricing was very reasonable. I do wish the bathroom was slightly closer and cleaner but overall this is great spot for a quality dinner in old Bagan. Don’t miss it!

Best place to eat in Bagan! I met the friendliest staff in this little corner, plus the food was incredibly good! You might not find it appealing at first, but give them a try and you’ll get surprised. I stayed in Bagan for 4 days and ate here day and night for 3 days in a row... simply the best. I love the ambience of this place! Very open with friendly and attentive staff. It is always packed during lunchtime. The foods are large, ranging from local burmese, thai and west. My favourite is the Kailan Salad, very fresh and serving for 2 people. The Myanmar fish curry is also good. Price is affordable for the good part.
