Delicious pizza, lovely experience. keep it up guys
Mama Rosa would get 5 stars, however since the new owners have taken over and rebranded as V8 it’s a generous 1 star.Despite the fake positive reviews below all left within the past two weeks by friends and family all with the same surnames, there is nothing to be excited about at V8. Weird (not bad, just weird) customer service. Lacklustre and unoriginal menu. And worst of all totally throwing out the menu that kept many of us coming back as loyal customers.Mama Rosa and Rita had an excellent and very extensive vegan range, one of the very few in the area, which made my family and many others I knew of to be regulars. The new owners appear to have scrapped this entirely and when asked they aren’t sure if they’ll resume these options. It makes absolutely zero sense to buy a business with an established customer base only to completely close your doors to them, and to disregard vegan options in this day and age shows the lack of business acumen the new owners have or an understanding of the market they could capitalise on. As Mama Rosa was open for over 30 years surely this would be a sign of doing something right that the new owners would want to continue seamlessly.Farewell Mama Rosa, you were fantastic and will be missed, and farewell to V8 who will surely be out of business in the not too distant future as they offer absolutely nothing unique to the over saturated pizza industry and couldn’t possibly remain open when they are willingly turning away an established customer base.
I reviewed this store glowingly when it was known as Mumma Rosa 's....... Not now, how the mighty have fallen. The homely warmth and old fashioned charm of yeasty hand made fresh pizza doe has been transformed into a black walled attempt at modernization more akin to an inner city convenience store with it 's Bunnings black and stainless steel shelving which have been set up to house convenience store like fast access cheep booze and an abundance of commercial fridges to service the Pakenham UDL/ RTD set.It appears that the love has diminished, although the lady at the front of house, I think the daughter of the old owner is still making the pizza 's I feel the passion and love for the craft has gone. No fault of hers. The ingredients that appeared to be market fresh veg and premium quality smallgoods appears to have been replaced by foodservice supplied canned ingredients to save money. The motto of the new site is The Australian way is a pizza beer a day is an insult to most people looking for a decent Pizza in a flooded frozen premade pizza base market. If I want beer or cheap wine with my pizza id buy a bottle of Lambrusco from Coles on the way home. I just want a quality pizza with quality ingredients made with love.Yes guy 's I am a real customer not an opposition pizza shop owner trying to hamstring a new store opening in the area, The names wrong, your angle 's wrong and the lack of experience in owning a pizza store is evident.Sorry guy 's but I wont be back.P.s. The Garlic bread is a horrible frozen roll thing, bring back the garlic pizza base....and what pizza shop doesn 't have anchovies??
Customer service and knowing is 110% better than most. the prices are on the point and highly recommended
