The pilot personnel were friendly and helpful. Although the website says Subway is open until midnight, it was closed before 10pm. I guess the 2 people there just didn't want to work anymore.

Clean establishment and with great amenities but very few parking spaces for truckers traveling I-44 HWY 50. I believe I counted 8-10 Diesel DEF fuel isles. Speaking of fuel isles, from the isles to the store has to be the longest walk and moststeps to go up-and-down in truck stop history! Jen that works inside the place is nice and friendly, so kudos to her! But beprepared for the long walk and concrete steps!

Additionally, we've tried to inflate our tire several times over the last few weeks, but the air pump has always been out of order. The closest functioning air pump is quite a distance away from this gas station. We also played on the slot machines and each lost $20, and we spent another $20 on scratch-off tickets from the machine inside, only to win back $15.

On September 8, 2022, I visited a restaurant surrounded by lush greenery. The ambiance was a pleasant mix of elevation and relaxation, making it a great place to refuel both physically and mentally.

I visited this morning, and there was no cashier available. A driver was also searching for someone to pay for his coffee. When I spotted a woman who I believe is a manager named Dana, I informed her that a customer needed assistance. Unfortunately, she rolled her eyes and smacked her teeth at me, which felt quite rude. Clearly, she didn't want to be bothered. As I picked out some items and made my way to the front, I encountered a guy named Jordan at the register, who was very friendly. However, I think Dana should find a job that makes her happier! Shaking my head!
