フィードバックを提供するI am so disappointed in Fishwife. It used to be a wonderful restaurant frequented by Asilomar conference attendees. It must have changed hands because the food now is bland, uninteresting and subpar. The fish does not taste fresh, is not seasoned well, or served with interesting veggies. Definitely not farm to table and I doubt if it’s sustainable. It was the only bad dining experience on our 4 day vacation to Monterey and Pacific Grove.
Salmon salad special excellent. My fried oysters disappointing as they were hard and dry, mostly breading. Carrot cake was best I ever had. Rich and full of nuts and raisons.
Had cod fish chips-seemed like we had remnant pieces. Oysters warm, calamari ok, chicken fettuccini good.
The food came out super fast. Our entire meal with appetizer was mins. Ordered the mahi fish bowl. Bland, no seasoning on the mahi, the black beans were cold. The veggies were barely cooked and no seasoning as well. I left hungry
Disappointing. The seafood dishes were ok but far from amazing, but the steak was really bad. Overpriced.
