El Palacio - Ozark

I made reservations for our church group for today , 2 ordered the burger with toasted bun the bun was burnt on both) I order the half beef nachos with peppers but it came with no lettuce , tomatoes or sour cream , my son got the Pollo chicken dish the strips were huge and dry he ask for tortillas he got two but they were ice cold like they just pulled them out of the fridge. Our waitress was Christy N .very nice. Meal type: Lunch

Remember the frozen enchiladas back in the 90's? My mom use to sprinkle extra cheese to make them better. I just ate there for the first time, and was instantly transported back in time. If you like your salsa pureed and to taste like chilli, then you are in luck! The service was amazing tho. She was extremely nice, efficient, and a pro in the service industry. I hope they treat her well..she is the only reason we stayed for the meal after tasting the salsa and canned cheese dip. The cowboy up front was very polite when we left. I worked for El Palacio years ago in Dothan, and people would drive miles to eat the beef and cheese nachos! They were awesome! I got nostalgic when I was passing through Ozark and saw this place, but I wish now that I had made better choices.
