Captain White Seafood City - Oxon Hill

I've been buying the Alaskan king crabs ? from them for yrs, always good. They cook them on site, seasoned, lite, med or heavy ?!

Called in an order and when to go pick it up. Customer service was horrible. No one wanted to help as I sat at the register for 10 minutes as they helped walk up customers. Finally the manger(I assume) asked if I was being helped. To add to it, they had staff people sitting around smirking and laughing. I won’t be going to them again.

We’ve gotten crabs ? 3 weeks in a row they have been delicious , meaty and sweet and the price is good . Sunday has helped me every time , I like to preorder to avoid a long line , she greets me every time with a big smile and hello , I admire her it’s hot outside , lots of folks and she’s always multi tasking great customer service . Jamez with a Z helped me with my pick up order these folks work hard in this heat he was as kind as could be .

I'm from the Eastern Shore, so crabs is something I don't play about. I've been on this end for 10+ plus years and this place still has the best crabs this side of the bay bridge. If you go there be sure to say hi to James, exceptional customer service, young man goes out of his way to make sure you leave happy…S/N the steaming process is long and a bit unorganized, there is no order so although you purchased your crabs, someone who purchased after you may get theirs 1st. And don't ask the the steamer with the long hair anything, he's not very friendly or patient, everything to him is 25-30minutes. When you may be there an hour. But don't let one bad apple ruin your crab day….

I have followed Captain Whites since a lil girl, down at the SW wharf. And when they moved I continued to follow them. They have the best crabs and seafood and steam them to perfection if needed. The staff are friendly and they make us the customers feel like family. Thank you for finding a new home with free parking.
