Los Agaves - Oxnard

The atmosphere and service at this restaurant are outstanding. We tried the tacos del mar and the Chile rellano burrito, both of which were delicious. The salsas were all good, but the black one stood out as the best. The enchilada sauce was amazing and the shrimp tacos were big and flavorful. The rice and hand-made tortillas were authentic and extraordinary. We were happy we decided to come here for the 4th of July. The salad with mango, corn, and cranberries was also excellent.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. My family ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all, with the exception of the shrimp taco which had too much breading and tasted "fishy." The rice was particularly well-liked. The service was good overall, but there was a delay in receiving one of our meals. The restaurant has a modern atmosphere, but is smaller than it appears in pictures. It operates more like a casual dining establishment where you order your food at the counter and then find a seat. Despite this, we had a positive experience and enjoyed the food.

I'm undecided. The food was decent. The chocolate-filled churros were the highlight of the meal. The server seemed a bit annoyed when my husband requested tortillas, which we didn't receive until after we had packed up our leftovers. It was challenging to find seating for a party of six. This restaurant is better suited for smaller groups of one to four people. Being met with disapproval from the server after spending $68 on two meals and drinks did not sit right with me.

My husband and I love coming here. Jessica was amazing and super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious

Food is good but pricey.l and small portions. Tacos have very little meat in them. Enchiladas are good. Pinto beans are different here.
