El Fogon Méxican - Owasso

Food was ok, we had shrimp burrito which was served with beans and rice inside burrito with melted cheese on top. Seems the beans and rice took over the flavor of the shrimp so wasnt to impressed.

If you see a bad review for El Fogon don't believe it. Hands down the best Mexican food around. Food, service and atmosphere are the best. They are family owned, very friendly and the food is exceptional. I lived in El Paso for 5 years and El Fogon is authentic Mexican food. Just look at the crowd of people dining here and that is testament to the food and service.

Had an early lunch here today. Staff was very nice and served well. My main complaint was the very small serving of salsa they gave you. Had to keep asking for more. The chips were not good. Almost seemed burned or overcooked. The queso was grainy. The menu was small with no lunch specials. Forced to buy a more expensive dinner portion at lunch time that I couldn’t even finish half of. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this restaurant again, but also wouldn’t not come if friends invited me here. So take that as you will.

Great food! Especially all the chicken dishes. Spicy salsa was awesome and not overly hot. Guacamole really good, chips good. Best beans and rice!! Service outstanding!!
