Mud Pie Bakery Coffee - Overland Park

This restaurant is a lifesaver! I am thrilled that Mud Pie is leading the way towards a future of tasty, environmentally-friendly, cruelty-free food. I have brought all of my non-vegan friends here and it has completely changed their perspectives on vegan cuisine. I strongly suggest trying the muffins, cinnamon rolls, and breakfast biscuit sandwich. I always order either an iced oat milk latte or an iced oat milk mocha— both are absolutely delicious.

I ordered a vegan cake for my daughter's 9th birthday, while we were visiting KC. They did an amazing job! My daughter loved it and it tasted amazing (strawberry cake, with strawberry filling). We also ended up buying more treats from the bakery when we picked up the cake. The blueberry roll was a hit, and I loved the lavendar matcha. Will go here again when we are in town.

Best vegan bakery I’ve ever been to!!!!! Their cinnamon rolls, green onion kolache and espresso chip donuts were the best!

Their food and drinks were so good we forgot to take pictures! We ended up going twice on our visit to Kansas City, and the owner was there both times, working alongside the barristas. He was so nice and friendly and was genuinely curious about how our trip had been and what options for vegan food there was in Sioux City. My husband and I tried the coffee chocolate muffin, lemon blueberry muffin, orange cranberry muffin, and the blueberry sweet bread! We loved everything, and all the baked goods were so soft, moist, and full of flavor. I had the drip coffee with half and half made with almond milk and coconut milk, which was amazing! I then chose a latte with soy milk the second time we went and I was not disappointed! I was so happy that they had soy milk as an option because coffee places on Sioux City no longer offer soy milk options. We will be heading there again if we are ever in the area! I can't say enough good things about this place

Both husband and I love their pastries. He's obssessed with their cherry/cranberry muffins. I find that some of their savoury pastries can be a little too salty (for my taste, at least), but I still get them occasionally. Everyone who works there is friendly and polite. Clean place and I love the online ordering.
