Gyu-kaku Overland Park

The quality of the beef was not the best lots of tendon to bite and chew through. Was not a pleasant eating experience. The server was attentive to change out the grill often. The sauce bottles and table was very sticky and needed a good wipe down. Not sure if we’ll be back!

Fun experience and staff was very nice. Did not care for the flavor of the miso soup and just couldn’t eat. As a diabetic there wasn’t anything to substitute for the rice without paying for another side.

Everything was great but the AC in the area we were in was to high and we were cold. Even when the hostess notice that try to fix it but couldn’t.

Very fun experience for date night or family night. The meat lovers combo was perfect for two people. We ate everything but the edamame and soup and left incredibly full. Service was all around chipper. Every meat had a different flavor profile, so it was definitely a party in my mouth. We will definitely return, especially with the incentive of their loyalty program. We already earned a bunch of points from just one visit.

Nicholas was an amazing and attentive server. For each item, he let us know what type of meat, cut, and time we need to grill it for. The experience was unique and felt authentic with delicious food. We had to shared a large table with a family with a low porous barrier. The boy was coughing violently the entire time sitting next to the barrier without covering his mouth. I would suggest that a higher solid barrier or do not let families share a large table.
