I was a little surprised that I didn't receive butter or jam with my toast; I had to request them and even then, didn't receive quite enough. The server was considerate in asking about our dietary restrictions and allergies.
I visited the café and I’m unlikely to return. One staff member was incredibly rude to my friend and me while we were quietly working on our laptops. We were asked to move tables because we hadn’t ordered dinner, which is understandable. However, the way she spoke to us was disrespectful, especially considering we were also customers of the restaurant. During the three hours I spent there, I only saw two parties actually dining. Given the staff member’s attitude, she should take a moment to inspect the restrooms and ensure they reflect the level of service she seems to expect. The mirrors were dirty, the floor was unkempt, and there was tissue scattered everywhere.
We arrived for breakfast, unaware that it was only served on weekends. However, the staff was incredibly accommodating. They offered us some bread and even warmed up a soup they had in the freezer. It was fantastic service!
I had a wonderful brunch experience at Working Title Kitchen! The charming atmosphere in the converted church was bright and inviting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the selection of bakery items was impressive and incredibly fresh. I couldn't resist trying the almond croissant, which quickly became a favorite of mine during my visit. The brunch portions were generous and absolutely worth it. Overall, this was one of the highlights of my meals in the city. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place!
This is a restaurant in the basement of a former church. It has a large outdoor patio with a weekend brunch. It sells fresh baked goods. I like the ambience of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Service is very slow and most staff seem very inexperienced.
