If the prices weren't that high, the place would have more value. The server was rude and simply seemed not to want to be there.I ordered a sandwich, which came with soggy bread and dried out eggs. My gf ordered a salmon bagel which barely had any salmon. Again, the bad review is because the price is absurd when stacked against what you get. On top of that, the server did not even mention. That the coffee (a very normal, store brand coffee) was 3,50$ per cup, not included with breakfast plates. Again, complete non-sense.
I have lived in the neighborhood for nearly 18 years, and this diner has always been my son’s and my favorite spot. It offers dependable comfort food and breakfast options, along with warm, friendly hostesses who have been there for years—an indication that they are treated well. Plus, there’s a pink Cadillac sliced in half hanging on the wall, adding a fun touch! This diner holds a special place in my heart, and I sincerely hope it remains open in some form during the impending redevelopment of the Westgate Mall in the next few years. Regardless of what happens, this diner has played a significant role in my life—thank you for all the wonderful memories!
A wonderful trip down memory lane! I had completely forgotten about Rockin' Johnny's until I spotted it again and immediately decided to take my family there. The service was excellent; everything was served promptly. I must mention that it felt a bit pricey, but I suppose you're paying for the unique ambiance of the restaurant. It’s enjoyable to revisit this place!
