Nakhon Thai Express - Ottawa

Service was quick and friendly; so quick that our meal came before our appetizer. The chicken pad requires an extra order to include the noodles? Serving sizes were smallish. We did not order rice but got it?

Yummy food! We have never ordered something that we didn't like. Their soup has won awards. Such an asset to Kemptville and not far from 416 if you are driving by the town!

Had dinner at Nakhon Thai Saturday night. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, which had an assortment of veggies inside a long thin wrapper and were fried crisp. They were delicious. The chicken satay skewers were nicely seasoned and tender. The chicken pad thai was scrumptious. Service was pleasant but a little on the slow side, especially considering there were few people in the restaurant at that time. Would definitely give it another go.

On entering what had been Frank's Diner several years ago the place had been totally upgraded. Service was very timely and friendly. Drinks arrived quickly. We had ordered Fresh Vegetable Wraps - they were very fresh as was the sauce. For the main course one had Chicken Pad Thai and the other had Goong Prik Thai - the shrimp were plentiful and well prepared. We will definitely return.

Just thought we would go and try we were told not everything is not too hot! Wow, I had a great lunch and over ate!
