Amazing evening at LOCAL Public Eatery Lansdowne. Service was excellent and food was beautiful and delicious. Atmosphere here is always fun and upbeat with great music and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

I'm from Toronto, and was visiting Ottawa.Came here to eat through a recommendation from a friend.Absolutely amazing place. It hit all the key points; great food, great services, great drinks, great prices!Grace in particular was amazing and she made our time phenomenal.She gave us a great vibe for our stay in Ottawa and was really glad to have her be a part of our trip. The Loaded potatoes are back.Servers were polite and quick to sit me, albeit I was alone it was very comfortable, warm fire places around the outside.Place is really nice, servers are super.Definitely coming back.

My partner and I have both worked in the industry for a long time, so suffice to say we appreciate great service and delicious food. Local Lansdowne delivered on both fronts. The appetizers we shared were absolutely outstanding (the hot honey sauce on the fried chicken is a game changer), and service was top notch. Anna, you gave us one of the best dining experiences we've had in the city. Your warmth and humour helped make last night's date night one for the books. We will be returning, and highly recommend.

Very personable staff. You could tell they had a good culture. Everyone who worked there worked well together and looked like they were enjoying what they were doing, which translates to amazing service. We were in a group of 12 and it was handled flawlessly. Next time I'm in Ottawa, I'm coming back! Great food, great time.!Vegetarian options: They were able to offer suggestions to accommodate my allergies and being vegan.
