Habaybna - Ottawa

Great Kabob. Very succulent and tasty. The largest skewers of beef kabob I have ever seen. It's a small place but very good for takeout.

I loved the food, the kabob was spiced so nicely and the chicken was amazing. The bread is delicious too, but I didn't like the fact it was frozen, I could still feel it cold on one side. But man is that bread sooo good. Overall I loved the food, nice and clean shop too, and the owner is a nice smiling guy. The tea is nice but the guy put too much sugar. Overall though I am happy I found this place, charcoal cooked meat and amazing flavour can't ask for more.

I was recommended to try the food at Habaybna Restaurant from a co-worker of mine and I was very pleased. Very filling and delicious food, and great customer service. The owner is very respectful and was kind enough to offer me a free falafel as a sample when asked what it was... I don't think any other restaurant would offer that. I've recommended it to a few of my friends and they were all as satisfied as I was.

Wow, can't get enough of their food. It's barbecue on the go, what more can you ask for, and so cheap. So many options of different types of food. Always adds extra things for no charge. The guy working there most of the time is so nice and funny. (The owner I think) I was so happy when I heard there's an Iraqi restaurant that opened in Ottawa, finally home-made food at a restaurant! Everyone of my customers that I have told to try out this restaurant had came back with good news. By the way, to the comment made above, instead of gossiping about a situation in a car with friends and shooting negativity right off the bat, I actually went to the owner after I saw this and asked him what this was all about. The menus first made was a big mistake and wasn't designed the way they wanted it too. It's a new business, Practice makes Perfect. Also, in the beginning there might of been a few people working there that did not know what they were doing, I'll agree with you on that, but they're no longer working there. I've heard nothing but great things about this place from many different people, great people and great food! WISH THEM ALL THE BEST

DO NOT GO HERE these people do not have good business practice. I went there were several friends and I asked for a menu too look over what I wanted to get when it was my time to pay they wanted me to pay double the price that was advertised on the menu I was fuming this place is horrible!! and when I mentioned it they said " ok fine lets' call it $10 no problem" when my meal was $6 AS IF they gave me a deal!!!! HOOORRRIBLE will NEVER go back there again and will tell all my friends this story!!! The worst part is when I was in the car discussing it with my friends we all realized they over charged us all!!! not just me they just arbitrary throw a price out and charge you it as long as it's more than the advertised menu. IF YOU DO GO HERE always ask for the menu otherwise they charge more I am so shocked that they would have the audacity to charge me so much more even after I saw the menu...do they think I'm stupid of something? anyways my best advice is DO NOT attempt to even go here you will get ripped off!!!!
