Asian Gourmet - Ottawa

I really like the food here and go quite regularly. The service is pretty quick and you can get a lot of tasty food and a drink for less than $10. The menu consists of westernized Chinese food. My favorite dish is the Bourbon Chicken, which I usually get as part of a Two Items combo which comes with another dish and a large side order of rice or noodles (you can get half rice, half noodles for the same price to mix it up a bit). The only major problem with this place is the service. The staff can be quite abrupt if you don 't follow the unwritten code of ordering, or if you don 't quite know what you want. The correct way to order is something like Two items to go... with rice ... Bourbon Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork . Lots of people do this in the wrong order and they can get annoyed.

The food was extremely disappointing. We ended up eating here during our visit to Ottawa because all the other places were closed, and we immediately regretted our choice. I strongly recommend saving your money and avoiding this restaurant.

The Chinese food at this food court was just average, and I had hoped for more. The rice and stir-fry lacked flavor and seemed bland. The chicken balls were decent, but the red sauce was quite thin and didn’t pack much taste. At $11 for a small plate of Chinese food and a drink, I was expecting a better experience.

The food was incredibly awful; I was genuinely disgusted. I've never encountered Asian cuisine like that before. This meal should not exist on Earth—maybe it would be suitable for Martians. The service was unbelievably terrible as well. I strongly recommend that you don't come here; it's not worth your time.

The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous.
