フィードバックを提供するI come here nearly almost everyday, I don’t normally make reviews but this place is a exception. Compared to every ramen I’ve had, this is hands down the best tasting broth I’ve ever had, there’s such a huge variety that’s not just the typical pork. There’s even vegetarian ramen! This is also the first time I’ve ever had boneless karaage (Japanese fried chicken) this juicy. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and so far honestly there’s nothing flawed. Surprisingly they make literally EVERYTHING from scratch too, I watched them make the batter and do the tempura in front of me. I’ve talked to the owner Eric and he was super nice too, it’s nice to see a authentic Japanese restaurant. I’ll 100% be back to eat the rest of the menu
We tried the black garlic ramen and beef udon and both dishes were fantastic. However, the beef udon didn't quite have an authentic taste. The broth was light on dashi flavor and instead had a sweet taste with a strong presence of caramelized onions. It more closely resembled a French onion soup with beef and noodles. While delicious as a soup option, if you're looking for authentic udon, you may want to explore other restaurants.
I ordered the Tan Tan and Miso Ramen, Edamame, and Tonkatsu Curry Don for sides. The prices are reasonable, service is quick, staff is friendly, and the food was delicious. I preferred the Miso Ramen over the Tan Tan, but I have a soft spot for Tan Tan. The Tonkatsu Curry Don is a great choice for lunch at $10.
The Japanese cuisine at this restaurant is excellent. They offer a variety of options such as Gyudon, udon, ramen, and a great selection of appetizers. The prices are reasonable compared to other similar restaurants in Ottawa. The service is friendly, ordering online is simple, and there is a short wait time for pick up. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I ordered the Tantan Ramen and Tonkotsu Black Ramen. Both were fantastic! My daughter loved her soup as well. The broth, pork, egg, and noodles were all excellent. After finishing one bowl of soup, I am very full.
