Ruby Inn - Ottawa

Food wasn't terrible but almost 20$ for a won ton soup, two egg rolls and a bottle of water is way too expensive in my mind. Wont be going back.

Just got 12 egg rolls and chicken fried rice. The rice was really oily and the egg rolls were burnt. Wish I had taken photos.

They lowered their quality, increased their price, and lowered their portions. I used to love Ruby Inn when I lived in the area, I went out of my way to get it today and was very dissapointed. First of all the taste/quality has changed. The pork was grey/green and unappetizing, the chicken was dry, the chicken balls had been sitting in their sauce and were practically just soggy mush, just not the quality I remember. The portions/price are astronomically different, I paid 92$ for a dinner for 2 that I added wontons and an extra eggroll to. I used to order this exact thing due to the value but they are using significantly smaller than in the past. I understand businesses need to change sometines but they changed everything that was made this place worth going to. The quality and value is just not worth the price.

Prices are way too high. Should not cost $50 for a dozen egg rolls. Stop gouging. I stopped going ever since you did this. I get inflation but that's no excuse for you to rip people off. Not cool.

Best egg roll in town Ruby’s is an staple in Ottawa South. We go there whenever we are in town.
