No hello, no smile, and seemed a bit mad that she had to get off her phone to take myorder. Food was good (best dog I 've had outside of Chicago! and out in a reasonable time, but holy cross contamination. Neverwashed her hands and watched her touch: food, money, her phone, her drink, her face (no mask , and back to food all while usingthe same pair of gloves. Please train her on proper food safety handling and how to be nice to customers, otherwise I would giveTones 5 stars!
I had the fried Polish on a sesame bun, very good. I was disappointed I couldn't get the side that I wanted, they were only serving there specials so couldn't get fries, tater tots, onion ring or anything else except the specials. Probably won't beback if that's the way things are run there.
It took 40 minutes to get 3 hot dogs and 3 fries. A thank you would have been nice too!!!
Stopped by today 5/9/2022 to pick up two tenderloins and fries. (Wasn't serving anything other than fries). Picked up only to find short on an order of fries, and tenderloins werent made to order. Had to call and drive back for the 2nd Fry. Was told onthe phone, would be a half hour wait for my order cause they were busy. But once I was there for pick up (both times) I was theonly vehicle at the window. No one else around. $19.00 later. No thanks !
Eaten here many many times. Small hole in the wall Dog Ice Cream shop. Always get the jumbo chili dog with cheese on poppy bun. Can't get enough. And the price. To feed 4 people with a dog and fries and drinks costed me just over$20. Pros: Affordable, good quality, friendly, fun to order and eat there. Cons: Only accepts cash, almost always busy andthere is a wait, no indoor seating. Place has been here forever. So they are doing something right. Chicago dog is like anauthentic taste of chicago. This is a must visit place.
