Jonny Coconuts Hawaiian Grill - Ottawa

The food is great, but getting someone on the phone is a challenge. My fiancé and I have attempted to dine here twice in the past month but have had no success. The first time, the kitchen was closed. The second time, we called four times, but no one answered, so we ultimately decided to go elsewhere.

It seems that those leaving positive reviews must have visited during the day or not at all! The crowd here is quite rowdy. You know the saying about a guy walking into a bar? Well, one man entered the bar last night, and soon after, more than three others, including the bartender, jumped him. I have no idea who the man was, but as an innocent bystander, I ended up getting injured by a chair that was thrown during the fight. The owner really needs to reconsider that bartender; he’s the same one who slicks back his hair every minute and a half while preparing drinks without washing his hands! It’s absolutely disgusting and definitely not sanitary!

I absolutely adore everything about this place, from the fantastic atmosphere to the tasty and budget-friendly food! The events and live music are a must-see. You won't be disappointed at Johnny Coconut's!
