Biwako Shoya Hamaotsu

The Kushi-Yaki (tempura skewers) was exceptional, with the shijitake mushrooms and butan shiso cheese standing out as favorites. Don't miss the lotus chips sprinkled with seaweed flakes—they're a fantastic snack! The grilled squid was also outstanding. One thing I really appreciated was the non-smoking area, making for a more pleasant dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant during your onsen trip; it's definitely worth it!

Considering the recent situation, I really appreciated the private room. Additionally, the standout dish, "nikomi" (braised meat), was not only delicious but also reasonably priced, and it was served quickly, which made it easy to enjoy with my drinks!

It's a fairly average izakaya. The food isn't particularly delicious, but it's not bad either. The service is good.
