Salsa Verde - Oswego

I love Salsa Verde! It is the perfect Trifecta: good food, friendly people and great value. My personal favorite is “El Pozole”, tastes as if I were in Mexico. I recommend you try this place!

I've visited this restaurant several times and have consistently received excellent service. The tacos, particularly the asada and al pastor, are absolutely delicious. However, the highlight is definitely the salsa bar, which allows you to customize your dish with an endless array of spices! The ceviche is fresh and flavorful as well. The interior is beautifully designed and very clean.

We ordered tacos, priced at $2.20 each—a fair price considering the added benefit of a salsa bar. You can also create your own burrito for $6.50. There’s a selection of Pepsi products available for drinks. On Tuesdays, they offer tacos for just $1.00, and on Thursdays, you can enjoy tortas for $5.00. Salsa Verde also provides catering services, as evidenced by their two catering vans and Uber Eats partnership. If you live in the area or are looking for a great place for a date, I highly recommend Salsa Verde! It’s truly amazing!

I visited this place for Taco Tuesday and enjoyed some delicious tacos at a great price! I tried the chorizo, steak, and shrimp. The chorizo and steak tacos were served Mexican-style with cilantro and onion on corn tortillas, while the shrimp was on a flour tortilla with mango salsa. Everything was excellent! The salsa bar was impressive, offering fresh lime wedges, a variety of salsas, hot sauces, and cilantro. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the available coupons. There's parking in the strip mall nearby. I would definitely return for more tacos. Don't miss the cheese dip—it’s delicious!
