Le Bistrot - Oslob

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, and there was no manager present. They took away our Tabasco sauce and replaced it with a cheaper alternative, then handed it to another foreign guest. They even started clearing our table while we were still seated and settling our bill, treating it more like a fast food establishment. Additionally, both servers had unkempt appearances and seemed to pay more attention to the other foreign guests. Overall, it was not a pleasant dinner.

During my visit, I was seated at a table when the staff asked me to move because a large group of 16 people was coming. I found this quite inappropriate. It didn't seem right to disturb a paying customer just to accommodate a new group. They should have found a better way to handle the situation instead of moving someone who was already settled. Additionally, the staff seemed impatient when taking orders. They kept asking for my order and wanted to take the menu back even though I was still busy on my phone. This made me uncomfortable. On another occasion, I ordered a cold coffee drink that tasted terrible—like watered-down coffee. Despite informing them about the issue at the counter, I didn’t receive a refund for that. I'm disappointed with my experiences at LE Bistrot Restaurant in Oslob, especially with the young staff member. This is just my honest opinion.

The service was incredibly slow; I waited 20 minutes for two takeout coffees that didn’t taste good and were overpriced. It feels like a complete tourist trap. Food: 3, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.

While in Oslob I first came here for Lunch then again for Breakfast the next day. Great service, fantastic aircon and good food. Lunch: I got the Burger which came with Fries and then I got the soup of the day which was a tomato soup with a pesto topping The burger was okay and so we're the fries. The tomato soup was the highlight of this meal. The soup was pretty hearty, but the pesto gave it so much more character and took the soup to another level. If in Oslob, I would come back to get that tomato pesto soup. 4/5 for the entire meal. Breakfast: Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I got the American Breakfast which comes with your choices of (coffee/tea), (bacon/sausage), (banana/mango), and your choice for how you want your eggs done (SPOILER: GET THE OMELETTE). It also comes with toast and some spreads for the toast, some potatoes and some tomato+cucumbers as garnish The coffee was fantastic which paired well with my choice of banana for fruit. The butter was soft which was perfect for the toast which was nice and hot. The bacon was nice, but the absolute star of the show for me was THE OMELETTE. The eggs were so well seasoned and it was such a soft and delicate omelette. I believe there were bell peppers and cheese in the omelette (my memory is failing me), but overall I have to say the omelette was delicious and I recommend it over getting sunnyside up or scrambled. I also ordered an extra side of fries because I love potatoes so, why not? As far as this breakfast goes, I would come back to this restaurant every morning if I were in Oslob just to get this American Breakfast. 5/5

We visited the place on March 21 because of the recommendation of our hostel. We were excited to eat there because of the number of stars in Google Maps, but were disappointed of the overall taste and price of the food. 1) We weren 't served water until after several requests. 2) The beef burger 's patty was small, dry, and tastes like cardboard. After reading several same reviews, how come this restaurant serves the same burger with the same recipe. It costs ₱400+, yet can 't even put some salt and beef seasoning. Try to check out Youtube for some recipes. 3) The beef lasagna lacks flavor, too. It 's the best among the food that we ordered. 4) 2nd hand smoking sucks (we ate outside). The Philippines is full of spices, but how come Le Bistrot can 't get some in their food?
