フィードバックを提供するI wanted to leave a star but happy cow adds and extra for its “full vegan or vegetarian”, unfortunately falafel me is neither. it was earlier that they had only milk in a few sauces, and even when eating was low quality it was at least a good offer for the price. I needed some cheap eating I went lately with a friend here and was quite disgusting to see that they now sell various meat dishes, and the kitchen is now shared with the fat of dead animals. it was never great, but at least seemed clean, now I don't even want to look at the board. avoid this place when they are against the exploitation and the mord. for the luck some days later I found a much better and completely plant-based falafel van along the road, and I would encourage all vegans to give their money to king falafel and try the absolutely best falafel packaging in the city!
After I heard many great things about the falafels, I was disposed of. there are barely seats and there is a kind of cold atmosphere. during the winter it is even as cold in the inner they have to stop their coat! As far as the falafels are concerned, they were not as creepy as I am used to many other places. the staff was not very friendly either. I wouldn't call them rude, but also not just smiling, friendly and helpful. there are better places for falafels in oslo!
As a long-term resident of the middle east, it is a bit painful to see someone selling prefabricated falafel, sitting in a refrigerator and eating them up for their order. falafel should be handmade from fresh ingredients, prepared to order, and served posthaste. It's not that hard. Nevertheless, it was not particularly bad or something. If you're stuck and need a veg bite while you're in the neighbourhood, it fits this bill.
I picked up a vegan falafel here, the staff was super nice and translated what was needed and made sure it was totally vegan for me (mind you, I ordered in English and they made an effort to speak to me). Wonderful place, highly recommend it!
We went there for a falafel roll and were satisfied, nice quality and size. Affordable price for Oslo. Don't forget to specify vegan and not vegetarian.
