フィードバックを提供するThis new restaurant, the recipient of some good reviews in the local papers, offers a wide array of tapas dishes most of which suffers from a bland and neutral taste. The waiters were polite but somewhat inattentive, forgetting for example to display the wine list, as well as failing to letting us taste the wine before serving. Those are but minor trifles, however, but worth observing nonetheless due to the exorbitant prices of this establishment. But now, the crux of the issue: the unforgettably bland and tasteless food. When ordering 12 13 small dishes you might expect that not every one is to your liking, but when the whole shebang is lacking in taste and vigour one begins to suspect that there is a philosophy of insipidness behind the cooking. Because surely a full strike 13 out of 13 failures cant be a simple mishap it must be planned. The aioli and salsa dips seemed spiceless, the olives, unripe, were served without a pick. The patatas bravas and tomatoes were passable, but the manchego cheese felt like chewing through hard plastic. The trouts main taste can only best be described as refrigerator cold and the fried mushroom balls could easily be improved just by adding any other savor to the taste of pure grease.
First time in Tapas place. Goat cheese salat, cod, chicken leg fillet were excelent, veal was lame. As dessert, goat cheese parfait was very good, but panna cotta was way too sweet and lack of sourness! Overall 3 stars.
Very nice tapas however the aïoli is hard to digest
We had booked a table for 30 at 8pm. We arrived on time and sat down at the reserved tables. To make it possible on so many servers, it was agreed that everyone should have the same menu. But then it turned out that they only had food for three! 3 out of 30! The first three received both ham, meatball, cheese and omelette. The next ones got ham and cheese, and the last got bread, cheese and dates with bacon. Only three were full this evening. When we were about to leave, everyone got a 25% reduction on the bill. Expensive for dates, cheese and bread. Shadow away!
Had pre-ordered tapas for catering. They had forgotten about it and started cooking when I arrived. Was not compensated or even an apology. Some of the dishes were good/decent, while the majority were obviously not suitable for catering as they had become quite wet and indelicate.
