North End Burger Oshawa

I was with friends, they promoted this place, spoke very much of this place, and was surprised to see the cook on his phone, all the time he worked at our meal, back and forth, put the phone and treat our food when the phone pick up and talk about it, he took up and put his phone many times without washing his hands. Instead of treating our food, how he served a paying customer like us, what did not seem to be a concern of him. It was difficult to enjoy the food after he disregarded me and my friends.

I placed my order and 4 customers walked in after me well those 4 customers got served before i did and all i ordered was fries to go. The onwer is very rude and hardly speaks english, the kitchen you can see the kitchen cause it is all open and the kitchen is a pig pen i have seen cleaner garbage dumpsters and to top it all off it is not consistent one day your food is way over cooked cause he goes out for a cigerette while your food is cooking and the comes back into the kitchen and he doesn't waste his hands you know what i have been there a few times and i have never seen him waste his hands once!!!!!he handles all that dirty money taking orders and then he just goes and starts cooking instead of cleaning his hands 1st so you know what happens if he has to go to the bathroom for a number 2..........very dirty greasy spoon beyond greasy its the greasy trap. Now dont get me going about there eye of the round greasy steak sandwich i think he dropped it in the garbage before he served it to me !!!!,

Onion rings were horrible couldn't even eat them. Hamburger patty was so small it was more bun than burger. People around us had breakfast and it looked good. Breakfast was served on a regular plate and silverware but the burger was on a paper plate with plastic fork. Why??

Burger tasted bland, no seasoning. The bun was not toasted and the patty was too small for the bun. My first bite into the burger was nothing but bread. Service seemed negative, no smile, just a mean looking expression on the chef's face. Fries tasted frozen, they tasted like the cheap frozen french fries you get at a local grocery store. Omelette was a bit undercooked and tasteless. I tried adding salt and pepper but it made it less satisfying. Overall, I won't be going back to this restaurant.

My husband and I decided to grab a bite we have been travelling to Oshawa with Mom as she is having cancer treatment. I have had gastric bypass so smalller food capacity I requested smaller portions. I listened to the owner chastise his employee for not up selling for several minutes. My order was wrong and the food terrible. We will never eat here again and we love Johnnys.
