Country Perks &grill - Oshawa

This used to be our favorite take-out place. Unfortunately, the last few times we have found that the quality has dropped and the prices have increased significantly. I was surprised when I got home (after ordering from this place for about 10 years) to find out that they don't include rice with the orders anymore; you need to order it as a side dish. If our order had been delicious, it might have been OK, but the beef satay had the texture of shoe leather, the mango salad tasted like there was a rancid nut in it, and my husband's order of crispy beef wasn't nearly as good as it usually is. The kids both ordered chicken fingers and fries, and they were good with lots of chicken. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

I wasn’t initially going to say anything but I have been struggling with an upset stomach since eating the meal from here.We ordered through Skip. I’m aware it was quite a large order but I was shocked by the quality of food. I usually LOVE this place for Thai food but today was such a disappointment. I ordered 3 pad thai (one beef and two with chicken) in which the chicken was not included in the two pad thai. I also ordered Thai coconut soup with chicken and veggies as well as crispy tofu bites. Well, the soup only had 6 mushrooms and absolutely nothing else in it but an oily separated broth that tasted so sour that I believe that something in it had gone bad. The peanut sauce that comes with the crispy tofu was put in the bag with a completely split lid and the sauce got everywhere. Things were carelessly packed and the food was very clearly carelessly made.For the last few hours, multiple of us have had quite upset stomachs which is concerning especially when we spent just over $90 on meals that only one of which actually had the protein we ordered out of 4 full meals.I usually always go to a country perks when I’m craving Thai but I just can’t foresee us returning again because of this experience.

The chicken wings were terrible extremely greasy and tasted like old grease. Let the waitress know bc it was inedible and we left 3/4 of our food untouched she went in the back and returned to us saying “there’s nothing we can do”…even after the group beside us having the same complaint. Poor food service.

Ordered in advance for pick up later in the day. Unfortunately, I think they forgot as I waited almost 30 minutes past my arranged pick up time. Wings were great and family loved them. Will visit again :

One of our main go to 's for lunch or dinner. Amazing food and great quality. We love it here. You won 't be disappointed!!
