Asari sushi has the best and freshest sushi I have ever had the privilege of eating! All their food in general is delicious, and the miso soup is by far the best I've ever eaten out of all the Japanese restaurants I have been to throughout the Durham region, Toronto, and Ottawa. Also tried takoyaki for my first time ever, honestly I didn't know what to expect but the flavors were mouthwatering, and Asari is the only Japanese restaurant in Oshawa that has takoyaki on itsmenu. Never been disappointed with their food, or lovely menu. Definitely an underrated restaurant that deserves more recognition.
Love this place for lunch. They have decently priced lunch specials and the sushi is made fresh. The quality of the fish is far better than other sushi places I have visited in the region. They don't offer all you can eat , but the portions leave you feeling satisfied, not bloated and full. The two people who run the place are very personable and good at what they do, they really make sure you feel welcome and obviously have a passion for the product. It's small, only about 6 tables, but is nice, cozy, and very clean. Would suggest to anyone who is a fan of sushi, a nice little change from the all you can eat places around the area.
This newly opened sushi restaurant is quickly gaining popularity for its delicious Japanese cuisine. While my friends sample a variety of dishes, my go-to choices are the teriyaki beef and teriyaki salmon, along with some other items that I can't remember the names of. Their soup and tea are also fantastic. The chef is incredibly talented and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. They are so confident in their food that they even offer customers a free gift certificate to try it out.
The sushi in Oshawa is fantastic! I must say, it surpasses many all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants. The variety of original and diverse sushi options is impressive.
