Mama's Country Kitchen - Oscoda

On a road trip, stopped in for breakfast, five of us everyone's order was very good, large portions, great waitress, nice way to start the day

Went there today for breakfast while visiting Oscoda. This place is severely understaffed. We saw several people come in and sat down at tables and no one ever came to their table so they got up and left. I wish we would have done the same. It took forever to get silverware and our drinks. The food was not good. We got omelets, French toast and the super breakfast. The French toast was plain it wasn't even browned on the outside. The sausage was undercooked. The waitress forgot our toast and it took us twice asking her before she got it for us. The table next to us had a hair in their food, then my husband found a hair on his sausage. Absolutely disgusting. Why is the cook not wearing a hair net? We asked the server to split the bill and when she brought it back it was incorrect. She went back to fix it but didn't return. My friend had to call for her across the restaurant and ask her just to bring the original bill back and we will figure it out ourselves. I would avoid this place.

This place is a dump flies ,had to send food back. Hope I don't get sick. Avoid this place.

What a great mom and pop restaurant. We love supporting these small hard working families. They are the backbone of our country. The food was plentiful and excellent. The price was extremely reasonable we couldn’t have gone to the grocery store let alone a fast food window for the quality and value. Even the chef/ we suspect owner was greeting people and serving drinks and bread baskets.Just that kind of experience you used to see 10 15 years ago is still alive at Momas Country Kitchen. Thank you !

Mid food, had nacho cheese on my burger instead of actual cheese, me and my family waited 2 hours to get our food because our order didn 't go through , the waitress that served us only came a couple times and kinda pestered us. Only one positive from there was that the lemonade and tea tasted good. 1 star
