Pizzeria LA GUICHETTA - Orsay

Good quality food, this is our usual restaurant working for lunch nearby). As stated by several reviewers, it is simply too bad that prices are so high... January 2017: new menu: all pizzas had an increase of .40ct, it brought to almost 15€.... I'm diluting... no more:

It was a very nice surprise to find this small and friendly restaurant. We had pizza from lunch, including a nice chat with the pizzaiolo who is italian (so is the chef, brother of the pizzaiolo). In a family like manner he made the pizza...while talking to us about his experience in France. I can highly recommend this place.

Easy to find just opposite the RER train station of Le Guichet, this nice Italian restaurant serves delicious pizzas and pastas. The tomato sauce used for both is just the best i've ever tasted. Service was great, changes/additions to children's menu was done without any...problems. Big compliment!

Visiting in December was not likely to give a balanced view of the village or this Pizzeria. The food was good and their English was more than good enough to order a meal. The environment was a little harsh and modern for my style, but...was much more stylish than a basic stainless steel cafe.

The best pizza I have ever had, and I've had a lot of them. They are cooked in stone oven, and the fire is made with wood, which gives a fantastic flavor to the meal. Go, and test yourself
