The Derby Arms - Ormskirk

I have been frequenting this rustic pub in the countryside for several years now. They offer something different every night and have friendly hosts and customers. There is ample parking available. The food is excellent and reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. The popularity of this place speaks for itself. I must mention they also have a wide selection of wines and beers, including several unique options always on hand.

It was recommended to them by a couple they met in Kirby Lonsdale during Christmas, and they were not disappointed. They received a warm greeting upon arrival, enjoyed a great selection of cask ales, and found the surroundings to be comfortable. The home baked steak pie was hot and delicious, while the Sunday Lunch with mixed meat (the large portion) was described as a mountain of a meal. The staff were happy and efficient, making the dining experience enjoyable. Lakeslady recommends booking ahead for their next visit.

The restaurant is always inviting with a fantastic variety of ales and consistently delicious food. It offers great value for money.
