Agave Fresh Mex And Cantina Ormond Beach, Fl

My family and I used to visit Agave almost every week. It was fantastic! The place was always bustling, the food was creative, and the service was excellent. However, lately, we've noticed a decline. The service has become very slow, and the food has not been good. The guacamole was bitter and bland, while the carne asada tacos lacked seasoning. The only highlight was the choriqueso, which was still enjoyable.

I didn't complete my review earlier. We're planning to visit Agave when we're in Ormond. The food is fresh and absolutely delightful. My favorite dish is the Pollo Poblano, which I order every time. My husband really enjoys the Quesadilla and the Chicken Enchiladas. You simply can’t go wrong with any choice here!

I’m pleased to update my review to a solid 5 stars! Miguel remembers my drink every time, and he’s always attentive to all the guests. The atmosphere is great, and the bartenders are friendly. They can be a bit slow at times, but it’s not a major issue. I’m still enjoying my time here!

Restaurant was clean, had high ratings, and we were just buying a few doors down. They seemed to be a little short staff, but in the final service was acceptable. A guy worked at the host station, waiting tables, busy tables and was behind the bar. But he covered everything. The usual chips salsa were average. The Queso and Chips were pretty good. We both ordered Mexican pizzas. They were well prepared, attractively presented, but in the end, we both thought they were very short on taste. Given the overall high ratings, it may be just a difference of individual preferences and taste.

Awesome Mexican restaurant located in the shopping plaza near Publix. Ordered enchiladas Durango and received a huge plate with three enchiladas, rice, and beans. Huge portions, great place.
