Today I will say it was more Christopher Plumber than a Chris Evans (instead of a hot kind sexy meal it was more of an old taste to it that bites later), plus the meal overall was served a bit sloppy. The Mexican hot cocoa was served in two to go cups because it was spilled all over the 1st cup it was poured into, I would have started over but maybe that is just me being picky (man I sound like super Karen)! Anyway, nachos were hot, tasty and tons of calories and we had a kale salad that they made with almost no dressing (balances out the nachos). The other five times, dialed up!!! This time…ehh.
The tacos are the soft corn style that represent street food in the southwest. They are good but small. 3 will cost you around $15 (U.S. . Chips and Salsa would have run another $5 so I skipped it. It was good, but not twice as good as Chipotle.
With a diverse crowd we ordered about everything on the menu. Their IPA on tap was very good. We had Plaintains and four different tacos. Loved the homemade shells. Tacos were loaded and very tasty. The folks who ordered the bowls sent them back EMPTY. The various proteins served both on the tacos and in the bowls were fresh and flavorful. Toppings were freshly cut and abundant. Some of us are returning today in the evening. Folks at the big table were kind enough to share their table with us and when they finished, we were able to seat everyone in our group. We will be back as a group! Great job.
My husband and I dined here about a week ago and we loved it.
The brisket tacos are amazing. They have so much flavor and are full of meat. Staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere.
