Tabla Indian - Orlando

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times. The food is delicious, but the service can be inconsistent. I have encountered both excellent servers and very rude ones. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely.

We had a disappointing dining experience with poorly cooked and lackluster food. The vegetables were not cooked to the right texture. However, the service was mostly good, the location is conveniently close to Universal Parks, and there were several vegan options available in Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisine.

As a non-vegan restaurant, there were surprisingly many vegetarian options and quite a few vegan options. My partner and I shared the Gobi Manchurian appetizer (which was quite large, even for my huge appetite! Definitely a must-split for two) and the red and green curries with tofu. Everything was delicious. The staff double-checked the vegan options, including a few appetizers, 3 Indian dishes, and 3 Thai curries. Some of the rice and noodle dishes could possibly be made vegan, but I didn't inquire about that. We will definitely be returning!

I worked almost 7 years near tabla and tried it this month. now I'm kind of sad to have missed all these options for tasty eating in recent years! tabla is excellent! While I do not consider myself an Indian food aficionado, I am quite picky when it comes to good taste in general. I know I will continue to visit tabla for more great vegan options!

Ask for the vegan menu. Helps to limit the elections I had Dal Tadka who was tasteful.
