The Irish Patriot - Orland Park

Yesterday was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the finest food and booze and with the comfortable cost. We will definitely come back in a short time.

Great staff and food. There beer selection isn't bad either.

Food and atmosphere are two to none! My favorite Irish pub! Fiona and Ryan are great!

I am confused by the number of negative comments about this place... did I happen to have a good night? Not sure, but I stopped on a Friday with a buddy and everything was good. We came and heard friendly people in cover. It was about 6ish so that the place was not yet packed, but a good crowd spoke at the bar and had a good time. We went back and the server said to sit wherever we want. She came back after a few minutes and took our drinks orders (Guinness), brought them a few minutes later and took our food order. You have everything you can eat on Friday, so we both have it. The fish was good, really hot as he was just out of the frit. Fries are also good, not greasy, beautiful and crisp with good taste. The fish comes with cola and tartaric acid. They go to authenticity and also have malt vinegar on the table. The Guinness was really poured. Our server was fast and professional. No hint of posture or nothing and no problems, I left her a nice tip. They also played good music here. Others have complained that it is too loud, but I thought it would be good for a bar (full disclosure, I have some hearing loss from playing in very loud bands in the 90s, so that I may not be the best judge on this). Either way, my friend and I were perfectly able to talk and understand conversation about the table. I'll be back!
