Seriously, who yells at paying customers because they don't want to use the stage and be blinded by obnoxious lighting and go deaf from the loud feedback from the karaoke machines. Here's a thought: instead of harassing the people who keep you in business maybe you should invest in a decent sound system and let people have fun and enjoy themselves. I won't return. Take a hard pass on this place.
We decided to come out tonight, to our local karaoke place (that we love). We love the atmosphere and the people. The bartenders are great! That’s not what this review is about though…the owners recently changed the rules that you have to go on stage to sing. Which some people may not have a problem with that but others like me who have stage fright might. I felt confident enough to put in a song, I asked the bartender about the rule and she said she didn’t know she thought it was mainly for the weekends (on the busiest days) but still wasn’t sure. I got called up asked if I had to stand on stage and he said yes, I didn’t know if he was serious (there were only a few singers maybe 10 people in the bar) he told me you’ll be fine. That’s the thing though I have stage fright so not only is it easier for me to stand off to the side but I’m more comfortable doing that. I will no longer support Dan d jacks because of this stupid rule. Also I will be informing all of my friends about this petty rule so they won’t get their business as well. Please change this rule!
Love to sing, people are nice here, varying ages, backgrounds and mixed crowd. I like that everyone is so supportive even if you can't sing but try to.
Nice little place. I haven't been in a while but from my experience the slots pay pretty good ???.
Use to be a better place. Slots were very tight but drins were reasonably priced. A little dark inside. better summer bar
