Philadelphia Kitchen - Orangeville

Was ok at best…. Wasn’t allowed to eat inside with my 2 year old daughter because I didn’t have a va passport. Been to Philly and not one place uses mozzarella. Was too salty. Provolone or American cheese (subway cheese) would be a better option after whiz. Couple small adjustments and it could be a 4-4.25 at best.

Amazing sandwiches and fries. The meatball sandwich is superb. They make their own crusty bread that’s also great. Just wish the crust wasn’t that hard. That’s just me as I prefer a softer crust.

We only did take out, so not sure on the atmosphere but the place looks super clean and the staff was nice! And the food! The food is amazing! They are known for sandwiches, but they also have the best fries! You will not want to share them

Specifically chose this place because of the high reviews. The sammie was underwhelming at best. The best part was the fresh baked roll. Not near enough cheese and it wasnt even melted. And it was on the bottom, under the meat! Asked for the mushroom version, but hardly noticed them too. Flavour, taste and texture all okay. Not a bad experience, just could be much better.

Heard great things about this spot from a friend about their cheese steak sandwiches. I don’t eat red meat so I ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich with the works. the fries on the side was good….. The bread and toppings was good but the chicken parm and tomato sauce had no flavour… very bland. I’ve had chicken parm many times since I was little…. Grew up in Toronto’s little Italy neighbourhood and this is the first time I’ve been so disappointed about the flavours from a chicken parm sandwich…..mostly the sauce. … so sad.
