Hotel Canobolas - Orange

First, the food is good, no question about that. However, to order lunch and drinks for 2 of us I had to place 3 separate orders and pay for each separately, and there's no way round it. The total for 2 people for a reasonable but not extravagant Sunday lunch was $75, which is way over the top. Not value for money.

Building is very Art Deco just beautiful. Arrived for dinner it was crowded (good sign). A waitress (Misha I think her name was) helped us find a table and was friendly and happy to serve us. We had a lot of choices in food. Later we headed up stair to the whisky bar which had a quiet relaxing atmosphere with a guy playing guitar and singing. Could have sat there all night. The hotel with everything.

I was engaged to run 2 training days here this week and I was so impressed with the service provided by staff and the quality of food and facilities. Nothing was a problem, everything was set up as requested and the meal breaks were all served on time. I would highly recommend the Hotel Canobolas!

We booked for 9 of us on our way to Parkes. Friendly staff, good food, great rooms, comfy beds. If I was to be critical I would say the rooms were too hot. I know it is winter but it felt like a sauna even though we turned all the heaters off when we arrived. It must have been the air con.All in all an enjoyable evening and I would be more than happy to stay again.

The nob always has good atmosphere, great food especially the steaks. Good selection of craft beers too. Plenty of sport and live music too.
