Everything we tried here was excellent and our waiter Chad did a great job welcoming us and taking care of us as well. We had blacked grouper on mushroom risotto, truffle chips appetizer, short rib on grits, Philly sandwich, and blackened chicken. Outstanding and at a good price point. Nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. We will be back.

We had a great experience. The bread with strawberry butter was yummy. My husband had the seafood pasta dinner. I had the strawberry, feta, and salmon salad. Both were delicious! The food was reasonably priced. Service was great. Sitting outside by the water was very nice tonight. We will be back!

This is a hidden treat of a restaurant that's overlooking the Wharf’s Marina. It's one of the Wharf Restaurant Group that's locally owned by Lane and Ginny Gilbert and made up of Ginny Lane Bar Grill, Villaggio Grille, YoHo Rum Tacos and Mile Marker 158 Dockside. Mile Marker 158 is located behind the SpringHill Suites Hotel has a very pleasant experience with an upscale appearance, while serving casual culinary cuisine, affordable prices, and handcrafted cocktails. The inside seating is very pleasant and the covered and uncovered outdoor seating has a fantastic waterfront view along the marina that makes for a great dining experience rain or shine. The menu has some interesting choices that aren't found in other areas restaurants and from oysters to burgers or fiilet mignon to teriyaki glazed salmon, there's something for just about everyone. Come here by car or by boat, dine or takeout and there's several delivery options, too. Happy hours are 3-5 with $4 beers, 4$ wines $5 well drinks as well as appetizer deals. A big hit here is their Wednesday special of homemade lasagna with garlic bread, choice of Caesar or house salad, and 6 oz glass of wine for $16.99. We've been here several times and have had sampled several dishes. Our appetizers have included the Beef Blue Wontons, Fried Smoked Gouda Wedges and Beef Tenderloin Bites which were all outstanding as is their bread servings. For entrees my honey has tried the Crispy Shrimp Quesadilla, which came out so cool that the cheese was solid, once sent back for a reheat she enjoyed it, and the Strawberry Feta Salmon Salad which she was disappointed with because the salmon was cold and lacked seasoning. I have had the Potato Encrusted Flounder which was something new for me, it's a flounder filet rolled in hash browns and broiled, it was okay but needed a little more seasoning and just a bit oily. I have also had their fish of the day sandwich with fries. The flounder was heavily breaded and the fries were cold, so not a big fan of that combo. I think their must be a staffing issue, as is true with many area restaurants, that could be the reason food sits at the pass too long and you aren't getting the same plate that the chefs put out. Letting hot foods sit too long and it can make a difference between great, good, just okay, or just funky. Their existing staff and service is a solid 5 star as the entire crew are all super friendly and very accommodating, great job all! The Wharf Restaurant Group also operates The Wharf Catering Group that offers catering services from all four of their restaurants for private parties, banquets, weddings and other events of all sizes both at The Wharf and offsite. Bottom line: The dining experience is one of the best in the area, the food could be improved, but it's got an exemplary staff and service with a fabulous view.
