Doc's Seafood Shack Oyster

Their motto is "The best fried shrimp in the entire civilized world," and I couldn't agree more. I absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic, and they serve the best fried seafood on the Gulf coast.

The shrimp at this restaurant are truly exceptional, possibly the best-fried shrimp you will find anywhere. The gumbo and onion rings are also delicious. The waitstaff are top-notch - friendly, patient, and attentive.

In my opinion, I found Doc's to be underwhelming and quite average. It appears to be popular among both tourists and locals, but I am unsure of the reason why. The portions are large, but so are the prices. I also noticed that the server seemed indifferent.

After being recommended by our friends, we decided to dine at this restaurant and we were thoroughly impressed. We opted for the seafood plate that allowed us to choose four items for $31, and we felt it was definitely worth the price. We had fried fish, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, and 2 stuffed crabs, all of which were absolutely delicious. The stuffed crab was especially outstanding, possibly the best we've ever had. Overall, this is a great spot for seafood lovers looking for a tasty meal.
