Bald Mountain Camps - Oquossoc

My husband and I are frequent visitors to the Rangeley area and this was our 2nd time dining at the Bald Mountain Camp Resort. Our lovely server, Sarah, made us feel right at home and made me a delicious blueberry martini. I had the scallops and my husband had the steak. Both were excellent, as well as the clam chowder. The sunset over Mooselookmeguntic Lake was extremely beautiful. We hope to see you again the next time we visit. Service: 5

Food quality was very disappointing for the price, with almost every dish I tasted (swordfish, chicken pot pie, caesar salad, lobster mac). would definitely recommend going elsewhere especially after being made fun of by a patron the moment I walked through the door. the only silver lining was our waitress who seemed unhappy to be there but still kept up a smile for us

Finally timed a visit to have their spectacular prime rib. Also their clam chowder is the best in the region. Couple that with the ambiance and million dollar views of Mooseluck, and it's a pretty great dining experience. Food drinks: See above.

After coming to the Rangeley area for 10+ years, we decided to try the Bald Mtn Camps restaurant for dinner. We looked online at the menu a couple days beforehand (which looked great a lot of options at multiple price points), and made a reservation. When we arrived, we saw that the menu at the restaurant was very different than the menu they posted online. 75% of the low to mid price point options had been removed and featured seafood and expensive steaks. Our party opted for wedge salad and New England clam chowder for apps and the cheeseburger, spinach ravioli, and chicken pot pie for dinner. Dinner was good, drinks were better. Unfortunately we were a bit let down about the different menu and the price point. Highly suggest calling beforehand to get an updated menu as the one online is incorrect.
